Hello guys,
My score is 453 - what do you think my chances are in the forthcoming rounds?

I created my EE profile this February.
My birthday comes in August, post which I start losing points.

Shall I work on improving my IELTS score or shall I wait for a couple of months.

Please advise.

Regards,
Gautam
You would be through in the next draw!

Mostly next draw would be on March 6th, but there is a slight chance it will happen next week.

Assuming they continue with 3350 ITAs.
If the next draw is on
Feb 27 - cut off around 445
OR
Mar 6 - cut off around 450

is this the all time highest score?
Today's cut off (CRS 457) was the highest cut off in the last 15 months. Ironically, the previous draw's cut off (CRS 438) was the lowest cut off in the last 15 months.

The highest all time cut off for a non program specific draw was CRS 886 (1st Express Entry draw). It has never been crossed thereafter in a non program specific draw and is not expected to be crossed too due to the high number of ITAs being issued after 2017.

The number of candidates entered in the pool with the score more than 440 is 4641 after the 30th Jan draw that is in 15 days, with an average of 310 candidates per day. The average per day intake has increased drastically.

If it continues, it will be difficult for candidates with a score of less than 440 unless there is an increase in the ITAs or more frequent draws.
Many congratulations who got ITA and good luck who are waiting for their chances.

So frustrating. I’ve been ready with my IELTS Score since 15 Dec 18. WES delayed sending out my evaluation for nearly three months and finally popped it out on 13 Feb. If they’d handed it to me even two weeks sooner I’d have been through. I’m at 440 CRS, and my birthdays on 28th Feb. Looks hopeless. I’ll be down to 434 on the 28th. :(

I also suffered from the same problem. In my case, WES took 6 months to complete my evaluation report including double verification from my university which is insane. Anyway, that is past now. Let's see how long it would take to bring down the cut-off.
There are the chances of OINP NOIs next month.

DAMN!! 457

I did expect it to be 450+. 457 is indeed high. Not surprising since it's a 3 week gap and more and more people are applying!!
