Hi, everyone. I'm Sponsor and a representative of my husband, who is in Saint-Petersburg, Russia,
I didn't include payment for biometrics (85$) when submitted application. Few days after AOR I got a request to pay biometrics online and to submit receipt via web form. After submission it took 4-5 days to add it to my file. Now I’m waiting for biometrics request.

So, we haven’t passed biometrics yet, but we called to VAC to know more details… PA can come to VAC without an appointment or can make it in advance (usually it is available for tomorrow). Your PA should be ready to spend there 1hour in total

I found example of biometric letter https://drive.google.com/file/d/1SHgPIYVXPA0j5t551u6Rp0z_z_OCjcMr/view
PA should bring this letter to VAC.

More info about biometrics
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/where-to-give-biometrics.asp

My file was not trasferred yet to visa office, will see, maybe I'll join you here soon :)
Thank you for the thorough response! I imagined it should be something like that, so you've confirmed my thoughts. My file hasn't been transferred to Warsaw yet, we just applied. I just know it will be Warsaw. It's a long wait, and seeing other people's progress somehow helps...

Hi @svilli , may I please ask you about sponsor approval? I can see you just got approved. How does it look like, did you get an email about it or it's in MyCIC? I'm just reading different sources, and some of them say if you link an application to PA's account, only PA's process information will be visible, not sponsor's. It's a bit confusing to me. I'm curious if in MyCIC you can see this stage, or if you just got an email to sponsor's email address confirming an approval.
Thanks!

The best way I guess is to log in to ECAS using sponsor information, that way you can check the status for both applicant and sponsor, if you already have an application number , use it with your last name, DOB and place of birth.
When you log it will show(Sponsored Person, Sponsorship Application Status ,Permanent Residence Application Status)

Thank you. Yeah, I know about ECAS. I was more curious how SA reflects on mycic and who's getting an email about an approval - a sponsor or a PA.

Alaria, my SA - it was by email.
You can follow November Outland and December Outland threads, where normally, people are getting their SA now or fond answers in Inlands if this is your case.
Yesterday there was a post in December Outland thread that I think answers all you questions.

May I ask about your timeline? Are you inland or outland?
P.S. I'm not in a Warsaw VO yet, so I'd propose to move discussion to more relevant place, like threads abovementioned for example.

Thanks for your reply. I've been reading December 2018 applications thread from start, but there are so many messages there, I haven't even gone through half of them. Some information there is very useful. I'll see all messages about SA when I come to the end of the thread :)

My timeline is, we just applied in the beginning of February, it's an outland application, CPC Sydney, NS.

Hi guys!
So we are expecting an application refusal. We are boyfriend and girlfriend, 3 years together, visiting each other every 4-5 months. We applied under sponsorship conjugal partner category. Since August 2018 I’m on stage eligibility reviewing. We make some research and I’m sure it will be a refusal. :(

Hi,
Why have you decided this?
I understand that this long waiting is killing us and it is human nature to imagine the worst scenario, but please be patient. And read threads where people getting their visa, not refusal :)

Thank you. You are very kind.
But we figured out boyfriend &girlfriend are not conjugal partners. We applied in a wrong category.
