I just realized while updating my signature with dates that the request for Birth Certificate date as per GCMS notes is prior to the date of AOR 1. CIC is strange :'). I don't know really what's going on.Sure, will keep this forum posted.
Hey, it's very normal to not hear anything for 2-3 months. Don't panic too much I'd say. This is concerning ... i wonder if things like this are common .,,and people who havnt really heard anything for aWhile may have same issue .. making me think if i should also order gcms notes
The problem is not with hearing back anything, the problem is with the different kind of status updates when checking online or referring to GCMS notes.Hey, it's very normal to not hear anything for 2-3 months. Don't panic too much I'd say.
Hi, are you the sponsor or PA and how did you order the notes? I was wondering who can order the notes, Sponsor or PA ?I received the GCMS notes today and it says that additional information requested on 11th Oct 2018 but I never received any communication regarding it. I received medical request in end of October and later communications that the file is transferred to CPC Mississauga and then to NDVO. I have sent a web based Case specific inquiry for the same, lets see what they will respond.
Also below are the notes:
Eligibility: Not Started
Security: Not Started
Criminality: Not Started
Info Sharing: Complete
My application date is 16th August 2018 and file transferred to NDVO on 16th Dec 2018.
As far as I know, those status updates are a bit all over the place. Some folks get their PPR with hardly any updates accurately reflecting their status. The problem is not with hearing back anything, the problem is with the different kind of status updates when checking online or referring to GCMS notes.

I do not see the term ‘background check’ in any ECAS updates nor in any past communications from CIC or SGVO to the PA. All fees were paid upfront, barring the bio-metric fee which was paid post submission. When did your background check started?
And also, have you recieved rprf fee payment request? Or have you already paid before and submitted with application?
Thankyou.
How about in GCKEY?I do not see the term ‘background check’ in any ECAS updates nor in any past communications from CIC or SGVO to the PA. All fees were paid upfront, barring the bio-metric fee which was paid post submission.

Yes. PCC were first provided via web form and then in Physical upon request. Good thing i ordered a physical copy from the FBI when the processing the police clearance, else its provided in digital only (pdf) by the FBI.How about in GCKEY?
And also did they ask you to provide pcc again like the orginal one? Physically?
I didn’t get that.
