You do not need US visa to flagpole. Its an administrative refusal, not an actual one, and has no impact on your future applications for US visa.
I did this, and later got 10yr US visitors visa.

Average days? no idea. Id say its a matter of luck. Call them when you get your COPR, and will find out. They may say it will take weeks, but ignore that, as you might get email minutes later with an appointment for next week. Seen it happen.I guess they want to discourage people from making those appointments.

thanks for responding. i need a clarification - i should be calling the IRCC call center for appointment and then they will send an email with a date and time for the appointment in few hours time? if i request them to make it a little earlier do they allow that?

Hi guys, for those who already did the landing: do you need to assign a destination address for the final PR card? I'm wondering whether i'll be living in the same place. Specially if it should be in the same province, since it can take more than a month.
And if yes, do they use Canada Post xpresspost? bbecause i know canada post has a mail redirection service that i could use, but i don't think it works for xpresspost

As far as I know, PR card would not be forwarded to your new address, even though you requested mail forwarding service of Canada Post. I googled the same thing before and that was what I found. So, it is better to research more and confirm with Canada Post.
And it is not Xpresspost. They send it by regular mail.

My returning envelope tracker has been activated tonight at 7 PM. Hope to get it by tomorrow.
No snowstorm no freezing rain, please!!
