Cool, and a followup. Does anyone know who they send the biometric fee request to? Sponsor email? PA email? GCKEY?
Probably overthinking this but can't believe I overlooked it. :)

Did most of you pay your biometric fee upfront?
I am not sure why I overlooked it but I didn't pay the biometric fee upfront. I haven't been requested to pay it yet, but was wondering if it would be of any benefit to pay it now and upload the receipt before they even ask. Or should I just wait for the request?

I believe we do not need to pay for our biometrics since it is not required if PA is from the Philippines and if the application was submitted prior to Dec 31, 2018

This is from CIC

"If you’re from a country in Asia, Asia Pacific or the Americas and we received your application before December 31, 2018, you don’t need to give your biometrics, even if your application is still being processed."

Hope this helps.

That makes sense. I could have sworn it said I didn't need biometrics back when we were filling out the application last year.
Thanks

Hi everyone interested in biometrics payment!

I'm a Sponsor and is a representative of my husband.
Request to pay biometrics came to my email from Centralized-Intake-Office@cic.gc.ca
In e-mail it was written: Ones completed, send the payment receipt via web form https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx
In web form, in applicant section enter your PA's data, Enquiry info - yours.
After you upload your receipt, you will be asked for email and date of birth confirmation.
In my case it was my email (as I'm a representative) and PA's date of birth
Good luck to all of us!

I didnt pay mine upfront either but I had noticed through this forum that others had. So I went online nd paid the fee, then sent the receipt to IRCC via webform. They attached the fee/receipt to our application. I did this the day after we got AOR1.
App was received: Nov14
AOR1: Jan16
Confirmation of payment receipt from IRCC: Jan30
Biometrics request: Feb11

Hi All,

Is there a WhatsApp group for the applicants who submitted their sponsorship forms in Nov'18?

Sure we can do that , Btw Have you got AOR ?

Hi All,

Good luck to all of you!!!

Thanks
Any Further update at your end?

In my case, we received request for medical exam without 5 and 6. Does that mean it has been already processed in the VO or we need to wait for 5 and 6 even after the medical exam? Thank you!

Hey Can you advise your timeline for the benefit of all of us . Thank you kindly

Did anyone just returned their application with the missing document or signature. Or did you update your application with new signatures.

Apply for police clearance certificate(they just need a summary report) from each country you visited, once you get that use web form to upload it.

That isn't correct. You do not need a police clearance certificate for every country you visited. A police clearance certificate is only necessary if you have lived or visited a country for a cumulative period of six months.
