  1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on September 26, 2018.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 7, 2018.
  3. We started processing your application on December 14, 2018.
Today I called CiC and know that my file is at Mississauga office.

Is there any spreadsheet for this forum so I can compare progress in my case?

Please share the link of spreadsheets.

Thanks

FEB 1st here.. there may be people earlier than us too.....
I think its Luck my friend from Iraq applied Feb 9,2018 and his test is in Feb 7,2019 this coming Thursday. He also submitted fingerprint last august which is supposed to be non routine as its mentioned in their website and take longer to process, but I that's not the case I wish I was asked to for fingerprint I guess my BG and others will completed faster. Many in this thread who did fingerprints were processed faster than "non routine'

My application was received on Oct. 16th 2017, started processing on Oct. 31st and was in the office by Nov.22nd 2017. Until today I haven't received a test invite and I have really lost faith/hope/excitement about this whole journey. I am 100% dissatisfied with the whole process and handling of the IRCC

Hi.
Got an email for fingerprints.
What is that for?
Will this make the process longer?
Thanks
Fingerprints usually means that your application is non-routine. IRCC suggests that non-routine applications may take longer than 1 year time-frame. However, it seems that people getting FP requests are being processed quicker than people sitting and waiting. So it can mean anything. I would say that don't sweat it too much. Just go with the flow. Good luck!

30 days? That’s what I was told too after 1 year, but it was more than 2 months later before anything happened ...
