We are on exactly the same timeline. I contacted IRCC through a web form and this was their response:Hello everyone.
I have been a silent member of this forum. Now, my patience is giving up as is everybody else's who are in the queue for PR. So. I decided to mail the Ottawa visa office (confirmed by calling CIC, unfortunately, this was the only information I could get from the agent on call) and got the following reply:
Please be informed that your application is currently in queue for review by an officer. Unfortunately, we are not able to provide you with a date on which your file will be reviewed.
Please be assured that you will be contacted immediately should further information be required or regarding the next steps in your file.
We thank you for your patience and for keeping your correspondence to a minimum.
My application details:
AOR: 31/08/18
Medicals/IP1: 25/09/18
IP2: 5 or 6/12/18
No updates afterwards.
Should I consider ordering GCMS notes now or wait for the 6 months mark (28 days left)?
Thanks in advance.
why are you waiting for 6 months before ordering GCMS notes??Hello everyone.

I feel for you mate, same story, 19/08 with exception of a ghost update on the 26/01 but no PPR yet, this is driving me crazy.Aug 29 AOR here. No movement since months now! people with AORs much later than mine are getting PPRs. This sucks!
I think the CPCs are giving a general reply. I am thinking to contact IRCC through a web form before ordering GCMS notes. We are on exactly the same timeline. I contacted IRCC through a web form and this was their response:
The initial assessment to ensure your application is complete has been finalized. Following this assessment, your application was transferred to the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa, Ontario (CPC-O). The office will contact you if they need other documents from you.
The background verifications are currently valid for criminality and have not been initiated for security yet. The medical examination results on file are valid.
Furthermore, if you would like to contact the responsible office directly in the future, you may find the contact information for the CPC-O on our website.
Looking at the trend nowadays, I chose to wait patiently till today. GCMS notes are gonna take a month more if I order them today itself. So, I have decided to extend my wait a week or ten days more. Who knows I get lucky, fingers crossed!!why are you waiting for 6 months before ordering GCMS notes??
congratulations!!PPPPPRRRRR thank you guys, just checked my mailbox as I was moaning and then saw the golden mail.
