WES status is on hold from past 7 weeks

Hi Everyone,

I need some advice on the WES document verification process. I had done my bachelors from St.Xaviers college, Mumbai before it became autonomous and was under Mumbai University. For WES process I took the transcripts from college and not from Mumbai University, got the sealed transcripts and degree both attested from college itself and put everything in a big envelope and sent it to WES for verification with my application no on both the envelopes.

My husband had also sent his transcripts along with mine and he has got his WES report whereas my status is still on HOLD. Now the transcripts were from college since now it is autonomous but WES has sent the verification request to Mumbai University and not St. Xaviers. When I contacted the college, they said it’s a normal process and the university will respond and it will proceed further but it’s been 7 weeks. I’m unable to contact the Mumbai University as well.

Any advice on this would be really helpful! Thanks.

How did you go about it finally? Did the university reply? And how long did it take? Pls help me with this info. I'm also stuck with the Mumbai University verification step.

Guys
U need to visit Mumbai univ registrar office and get this going.

Univ exam.dept ( controlle of examinations) gets lot of emails.and the person in charge cannot monitor each amd every email coming from WES

You need to go there, put up your case and perhaps some fee also as its normal charge MU.takes for online verification and email reply.

Do not go by mentioned timelines.of 7 weeks. They dont care.

U need to be there.

Yes. I've paid the fee and they said they will revert in 15 days or so.
But do they reply via email before that?
Also how true is the 15-20 days commitment? Did u get through this?

I got thru this as mine's was from.Pune univ.
But a colleague.of mine faced similar issue and hence based on knowledge i posted.
He had to.wait.for 2 mths for entire process but go through.
Pl go thr 3 to 4 times

Hi so the update is that I had to go and visit the Mumbai University and pay a fee and they processed my WES report within 20 days.
Now the WES status changed after the university processed my application but it took about a month for the whole process after paying the fees.

Did you visit the Kalina University or Churgate branch as even for me the WES status is ON Hold since last 4 months mentioning awaiting reply from Mumbai University

Go to Kalina campus. Examination Department.
Mahatma Phule bhavan.
Yes you can send someone else to get it done.
