Medical -May 11th, 2018
Sponsorship approved- May 18, 2018
application forward to New delhi- June 19, 2018
Interview request received on Dec 20- scheduled for Jan 23 at New delhi
We haven't heard back after the interview so far, we don't GCkey account and the automated system only says that we're checking if you've made the eligibility requirements and background check in progress

I don’t think there will be any issue. You can visit anywhere while processing. I am Canadian citizen, last February to December I was in India for 10 months.

ok thanks! but i am permanent resident, not citizen. i know citizens can live while the file is in process, but not sure about a permanent resident
