I am facing a strange problem today, i applied for family class sponsorship a few months ago and in my passport my name is written in full, but it doesn't specify which one is given name and which one is last name, it's written in this format ("First name" "Father's name" "Last name") ,
So i though that my given name is only "First name", and my surname is "my last name".
A few days ago i received the instructions to do the bio-metrics and when i gave her the documents and my passport, she said that there is a mistake in the documents, and that i am supposed to write my given name as "First name + Father's name" and my surname as "Last name".
She also did the bio-metrics based on that and issued the bio-metrics print based on my given name as my first name and my father's name,
I am confused, because in my passport it doesn't indicate which one is my given name, so i assumed it's only my first name.
Can anybody help me with this? i am so confused.
Should i contact CIC about, i am so worried that it could be a big mistake...
Because i was so careful while filling out the application, and i'm not sure if i missed that on the instructions.
