Restoration of visitor status

Hello Guys,

I have submitted my application to restore my visitor status on Sept. 21st and still havent received any answer. Does anybody know how long this process normally takes?

I just received a message now that my application has been approved...But at the same time I have received another message requesting medicals???

Likely approval conditional on you completing another medical.

Oh yes, I suppose this could be the reason, since I did not submit medicals upfront, and I have stayed for 6 months. Anyways, I will go for medicals since I will be applying for PR this month as well

No I didn’t need to send my passport I got a approval letter inside Canada

How long did the process take? Yours was only visitor status, right? You never had a work permit or study permit?
