Looks like no PPR batch was released this week. Next week should be affirmative for those who're waiting for some movement.

I was thinking that it might have been on ICE but seems either on hold or they have deferred the batch to some unknown distant %DATE:~ Unknown !!

There were pprs but from August month. It seems they have skipped June now and started with other months. It’s unfortunate that we fall under less than 20% category .

Thank you, friend! My travels to the Middle East (Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan and Turkey) were all before the Arab Spring (Spring of 2011), so while those countries may be of interest in general, the region was not yet in turmoil. But, yes, your gut tells you that travel to troubled regions is going to add to your processing time.

The theory I was floating earlier is that the more you have traveled, the richer the international info sharing on you, which should add more confidence to your profile. Of course, it's hard to prove any of these things, but I was glad to learn that your timeline doesn't seem to have been affected by extensive travel! I would happily take 4.5 months!

Guys, my file was approved in October and I’m yet to receive PPR. (AOR June 8)

I think I’ve done what people have been doing: call IRCC (agent told me file is still in Sydney, a second note was dropped but no one knows when Sydney will react), raise CSE, email Ottawa, NDVO and my LVO.

Specifically, I raised webform and email those three VOs more than a week ago, and not a single reply (well apart from the automatic ones). Is getting no reply AT ALL imply something wrong? The agent reassured me this Tuesday that everything is fine. But people who contacted, either via webform or email, at least got some reply (even though some may not be helpful). The fact that no one even bother to reply me and my file seem to be stuck in Sydney really gets my nerve...

This is what they were doing to me as well. It's very frustrating when no one replies. You could try emailing Sydney... though they just emailed back to say raise a CSE but I did get my par on the same day.

I just received my 2nd GCMS notes which I had applied on 17 Dec and they were generated on 18 Dec (So 2 days early!!).

Anyways, the notes almost same as my first set. Even in the second set Criminality and Security had not started. But, there is one change.

See the screenshots below. In my first notes, in Application Assignment the application was assigned to RC-2710 which is basically the code for Montreal VO. The due date was 06 Sep which of course was not followed. In the second set of notes, I think some VO officer picked the file and assigned it to himself. I guess this was done on 28 Nov based on the due date. He did miss his deadline but luckily for me not more than 10 days.

@richa1987 and @Nishika22 and all others who have their recent set of notes check whether your assignment still shows some VO code or an agent code.

Edit: Editing to add one more interesting detail. The page where analyst has comments and set my eligibility as recommend passed has S.16(1)(c) on top right of the page. So, I guess mere presence of this thing doesn't indicate SS.

Thanks man. Yes, I had also noticed this part in my last GCMS (2nd Note dated 2018/11/21) wherein my file was moved from CIO to CPC Ottawa and it reflected as under:

Assigned By: ML14796 (S/He is the agent who passed my Criminality)
Due Date: 2018/11/25

After looking at this only, I ordered one more note on 2019/01/08. Hoping that some officer may have picked my file and would have approved it. I should be getting my next notes by 2nd week of Feb and whether I get the PPR by then or not, I would come back with any specific observations/inferences that I could make which could be useful for people here.

1st note dated 2018/08/01 also had a similar section:
APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT
Assigned To: AF01969
Assigned By: AF01969 (S/He is my Case Processing Agent who had worked on my file on 2018/08/02 as reflected in 2nd Notes and marked Eligibility as MET)

Thanks @cansha, so @sid1987's and @Mr_nobody's point has some proof now that 'security not started' does not imply what it says, is true.

Sorry I have a few questions:

1. Why do you think SS04410 is an agent, and not Security Screening? Since you se S.16(1)(c)
2. I know the notes were ordered and generated around Dec 17/18 and second assignment due date is around Dec 28, but could it be that whosoever picked up your file and started working, only kept the due date 10 days from the start? Do you think GCMS notes pushed the inert file in action?

3. Can you check the most recent activities on the file and share the snapshot? Also the page where recommendations from the agent/officer are published (if there is anything new).

Hey, please don’t be offended. Are you from there? I’m not trying to say Lebanon is not a safe country - I really enjoyed my visit there with friends. But with the crisis in Syria and ISIS, the increased number of displaced people in the region have not made things easier for countries like Jordan and Lebanon.

I can totally related to you on this. If our files are normal and there are no review comments, we should wait for little more time. There must be something working in the background which we are not aware of. It is difficult to wait especially when you have exceeded the normal processing times and you have no extraordinary situation which requires extra checks.

We can be hopeful and patient at the moment.

@Prashant86_2000 bro let me tell u a recent story of awesomness of ircc.. so one of my frn here... his wife had recieved re submission of photo request... but his wife was travellin.. so he sent the same pics again... guess wat they accepted and approved the pr card... same pics.. they rejected and a month later accepted... he was like wat the hell...so they play raffle for pics for pr card
