What is your Job? I resigned my horrible job, my last day this Friday!How many of you feel like resigning your job next second just after you get the PPR mail?I am at a point where my heart beat raises hearing the mail notification only to get disappointed seeing a promotion mail from Amazon.Team Amazon dont want me to miss 10 bucks discount on some books related to life in canada.Stupid personalised targeted ads.My google ads show only things related to canada.Every one except IRCC is sending me mails related to Canada.
My new job sucks big time.They are making me work 13-14 hours a day including weekends.
Pointless job.Useless wait.Irritating personalised ads.
Yep. Got my ghost update Dec 4th. File is probably approved but they're sitting on it.

My AOR is on Sept 9th and the status is same like yours.
IT Applications Developer.Resigned my previous job in August after getting ITA. After serving 3 month Notice period ,I joined this new job as a Team Lead.This is a crazy team with no work life balance.Everyone in the team is frustrated and as a Team Lead,I have to make sure that they do productive work on top of my day to day code development work.
And,the application developed so far is a huge mess and the management is projecting roses to our client when its actually filled with thornes.My onsite counterpart and I are cleaning up the code written so far and started optimizing the application.I join countless useless meetings everyday and make Fast and Furious style promises to satisfy the egos of all the parties joined in the call.
13-14 hours of this nonsense including weekends.
P.S. This is my 100th post here.

Hello,I spoke to the IRCC client support center agent at Ontario time 8.45 am. I was on the call from 8.00am.
Note for people who believe we are wasting officers' time contacting IRCC: We can only talk to the client support center agent, not the visa officers who work on our cases.
I was so excited to hear a human office on the other end and I forgot to ask what my visa office is
The polite agent told me that my application is going very well and is looking good. He said my eligibility is passed, background check is passed and my application is waiting for the officer to do the next steps. I did not ask when I can expect PPR. I did ask if my application is approved and he did not give me a clear answer; instead he said everything is looking good on my application.
Foot note: My application status on my cic account does not reflect any of the above and I assume it doesn't always anyway.
I know this might seem a repetitive question, but can I get a best number to contact the IRCC official from USA, did you use hangouts as well? Thanks in advance.
I talked to VFS again today, just to make sure I did the right thing. They said that VFS in LA and NYC internally send it to CPC-Ottawa itself. So submitting your passport at Ottawa is one option but other option is to send it to VFS in LA or NYC. And the agent iterated that the passport request letter is recognized anywhere. But if you are not in hurry, I think it is best to wait for their instructions.
For me, I have travel planned for 7th February. I am just hoping I receive my passports before then.
I just selected, technical issue. And I asked them about Ghost Update, specifically that there is no update in profile as such after Ghost Update and want to confirm that I am not required to send any documents.
got PPR yesterday and have been requested to send my passport to my visa office along with recent photos (4 copies). in the mean time, on MyCIC profile, under View Submitted Documents, there have been created containers asking for photos and passports. is this normal? do I have to upload anything?
