Guys, for PGWP those who applied in Jan, 2019, do we need to give biometrics if we are applying from within Canada?

just include incase they might need it, to avoid chances of refusal, i just include it in my application. If they dont need it they refund it back .

Has anyone applied for PGWP in December 2018 or January 2019.
I applied it on 3 January, 2018.

How much time do you think it will take?
Did you apply it with biometrics? It seems it is mandatory to provide biometrics from Jan 1st. If you did it then how and where did you give your biometrics?

I also have a job offer awaiting, and the start date has already been delayed...I applied on Nov.8th, and currently still no progress...

They didn't even process any application for a week from Dec 30 to Jan 6th. I also doubt if they are processed any for the next week.

All should consider flagpoling. The online process is sloppy.
I’m planning on flagpoling monday instead of submitting an online app.

I’ve read up on it and you don’t need a US visa and you are TRV exempt so long as you have a study permit valid and only go to the US

Mu suggestion is , you should go on Wednesday or Thursday , instead of Monday . coz usually they are busy in the starting and end of week ..We are also thinking to go for flagpolling because they refused my husband's SOWP Extension (stated the we did not submit employer job letter from spouse though we submitted pay stubs and well explained job letter)after 84 days of waiting and now his permit will expire in February and we don't want to take the risk

@manudeep73 sorry to hear about the refusal.

Thanks as well for the suggestion :) The border I have in mind is open for flagpoling Monday - Thursday 12-7pm and Saturday 9-5 . I think if we are able to get there by 12 noon on monday when they open we should be fine , but maybe i’ll consider going on Tuesday
