I do not mind that. But all I know is the paper PR application will take a minimum of 19 months, that is may 2019. In that case filing EE for me was of no use if both application are now synched up.

All my friends who had paper PNP application and later applied for ee-cec got it in 2 months.

Maybe your friends passed some part of their criminality and security in their pnp application and this did speed up their application for EE. I don't know!

I think it's the other way around. They all applied for ee-cec 3-5 months after applying for pnp paper pr. For me it's nine months after. When I applied for ee-cec my eligibility, medical and criminality were passed for paper application.

Yup. That last statement is spot on. the first statement hardly ever happens tbh. Most times the files are just gathering dust and call agents tell applicants that to scare them into not calling again or ordering notes.

Don't be so sure. Call agents do not try to scare people as it may bring some legal issues for them.Also, I am sure that GCMS notes is a complicated thing as some people need to check it before releasing it. I am pretty sure during that time that they are waiting for someone to check your notes, they officer would rather not mess with your file as it may complicate things! You really never know. You can't say for sure if ordering notes is speeding application or stopping it. At the end, each individual has to decide if they want to take the risk or not

This is for the purpose of security. They usually send the file to CIO for security purposes (for applicants such as you who passed criminality and eligibility).

Does that mean my file was in CIO then went to CPC-Ottawa where Criminality was passed then will go back to CIO for Security. That's like literally playing the game of "Catch Catch" or passing the parcel.

And if that is so then probably they would send it to CPC-Ottawa to Pass Eligibility which is currently MET then may be back to CIO for sending to LVO for PPR issuance.

In the interim my Medical will expire and Age will increase which will lower the score and they may want to review it again and may send my file back to CIO.

I think I went too wild on my imagination so let's Chuck it.

It's still a scare tactic if you're blatantly told ordering notes stall your application (we've also heard the same about calling) when there's an official statement that submitting GCMS request has mo influence on applications processing.
I honestly do not believe the call agents give a shit about the calls being recorded, if they did some of them wouldn't be rude and unprofessional the way they can be at times.

Lol. your age has no impact on a submitted application.

It does on the CRS and FSW score though. But yes I understand that it won't bring the score below the cut off, what I am not sure off is how would IRCC want to process it.
