I just got off the phone with a CIC agent. My AOR 23 August, MEP Sept 17, Eligibility Met - Oct 1, Criminality passed - Nov 23. Security - Not started. 130+ is seriously too long? Is there something going on at Ottawa? Shouldn't August applicants have gotten their PPRs by now?

Isn't it weird that August AORs are taking so long? I see many applicants with August AORs stuck in BG. Even some like myself with Criminality passed in Nov 2018, is stuck in security. Does anyone have any idea whats going on at CPC Ottawa?

Hmm.. Good chances that your PPR may be on the way. Just a guess based on the trends.
Every night I sleep with a hope of that email in my inbox and wish that comes true soon
Wish everyone of us good luck

Security has not been started for many applicants including some June and July Aor's. I think they are trying to clear earlier applicants first whose processing deadline has been already reached (June and July). On a positive note, people with IP2 12-17 October have received PPR's today.

Again, hold on.

When did you get We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information." message in your accoundt ?
I am not very sure honestly, but it could be anywhere between a month or two?

I don't know exactly since I have not been checking the profile initially and just kind of expecting to get the PPR within a month or two as that is what happened with most of my friends (granted, they did it end of 2017 and/or early 2018 and their situation was kind of different...) but then when it took time I started checking the profile every day or every other day.

Now it says on my profile 35 days left!

Hi, my score is 435 and I crested my EE profile in August 2018. Should I create a new profile this year for OINP as they pick the latrst profiles?
Should I keep the old profile active as older profiles are picked for FSWP ?

That was a different world back in 2017 and starting 2018. Getting approved in a month or two is a thing of past (for most of the apps) Now it takes more time for a normal application to get processed. there are many of us who are stuck at 'processing your background' since Oct end. Hopefully we get it approved soon.
