I submitted my PR document on 27-dec i have included RCMP fingerprint, do i need to do BIOMETRICS?

Did they ask you to submit RCMP fingerprints as an additional document ?

Hello Everyone,
As an update, I just received Eligibility Passed Letter on MyCIC (for me, principal applicant).
I'm a March 6th applicant, background check started/in process since Aug. 30th (CIC states background still in process), medical passed in Sept.
All quiet since Sept. up until this morning. No other updates.

How long does it take for the security and eligibility clearance ?

Hello, in terms of eligibility, in my case, it took 10 months (from application received to the eligibility passed letter received). This letter is also the AIP.
In terms of security clearance, it is difficult to say how long this takes because these details of the process aren't really mentioned in our MyCIC or in ECAS. Perhaps the best way to find out about security and criminality clearance details is to request your GCMS notes. The notes will have more details regarding these steps of your application process.

March 7th applicant. I received AIP and SA on December 27. I received DM letter on the 28 with both decision made on both side of Ecas. I'm currently waiting for my landing letter from niagara falls ircc office.

My Ecas changed to decision made on sponsor side this morning but we haven't received any letter/email. Have you received any SA email?

Yes I received AIP and SA on the same day. I am now only waiting for the last letter which will be my landing interview.

Hi all,

My spouse and I are March applicants. We both recieved the eligible for PR and eligible to Sponsor letter on December 31.

If her temp residence paper work expires on Feb 1st.. should we get it extended? (We planned on getting our sponsorship application in January 2018, so we didn't ask for a longer temp residence at the time... Cuz we just didn't know any better)

I'm not sure how close we are since we recently got our letters... Can someone clarify what the next step is and how long it takes?

Waiting for Niagara Falls IRCC to communicate landing interview date.
