UPDATEI just saw my PPR letter from NDVO, today 31st December 2018.
All details are in my signature.
I emailed NDVO once I knew they were sending PPRS to approved files despite not being Indian. I'm Nigerian.
So I'm going to sort out the change of LVO for passport submission today.
It's good news, finally!
Congrats!UPDATE
I got a new PPR today from Ottawa after my request to change LVO for passport submission on the 31st of December. it took about 56 hours (2 working days + time difference) discounting the January 1st non working day.
I've updated my signature with all the details.
They tell you 20% applications exceed 6 months and unfortunately yours is one of those. something like that. For anyone that passed the 6 months mark and called CIC to know the reasons: what was their response? Did they give any further details, or give a new due date?
I just want to know what to expect when I call them on Jan 16, the day after my 6 months ends. It is likely that my security had 'not started' since October...
So they will ask me to submit RCMP copy? I guess It would not be possible to submit now. There is no way to submit additional document until they ask...my bad, you're right it's in progress.

or are they doing by themselves?
though my 6 months due date is Jan.14, I've been trying to call them for last couple of days. The auto mode would say because of high volume of calls we are not able to place you in a que. Try next time. For anyone that passed the 6 months mark and called CIC to know the reasons: what was their response? Did they give any further details, or give a new due date?

Not sure it's 20% for July applicants. Someone in this forum wrote its 50%. So I guess they would have to come up with new excuse. They tell you 20% applications exceed 6 months and unfortunately yours is one of those. something like that.
Congratulations... To think I had been waiting for your good news and missed it. So happy for you.UPDATE
