It looks we have not experienced the same blast that CIC had last year toward the end of year with issuing lots PPRs.
And here I am, finished my 6 month today and no update after my ADR.

Yes. I was checking immitracker and this forum frequently to hear some good news as last year.
Seems they have a serious backlog

Nopes. My file is not yet approved, so did not had a curiosity to know this.

I raised a CSE today to check on my visa office. AOR on July 20.

Received below reply :
The responsible office is currently verifying if your application meets the eligibility requirements under the immigration program for which you have applied,

• Your application is located at the Case Processing Center in Ottawa, Ontario.

• You may be contacted via your account if additional information is needed.

hey are trying to complete all applications within the 6 month timeline. My VO is in Ottawa. Is there any email or phone number to Ottawa VO?

I am fsw inland.. I called 2 weeks ago they said BG not start review eligibility passed . Some other process are going on. I will contact agent after tomorrow and let see.

I am CEC Inland as mentioned in my signature.
I had called twice until now but did not got any information. Agent just said application is in progress.
GCMS Notes were useful, but now it should be just a wait game.

Quite strange why you did not received GCMS notes till now. It should show Background check status.

Try calling CIC and ask about Criminality and Security status

At this point, my application is stuck at CRS score - The analyst couldn't verify my foreign work experience using the document my ex-employer provided me; therefore he reduced my score by 50 point. This took my CRS total below the cutoff score.

Anyways, as of two weeks back, I submitted additional documents that the analyst could use to verify the experience and reinstate my points. Also, I submitted a letter pointing out exactly which document has what required details - I submitted this letter yesterday.

That said, what are my options at the end of 6th month (due on 12th Jan)? Don't want to be a sitting duck and leaving my fate to a stranger.

After you submit any document it takes 2-5 weeks for it to be added to your file and reviewed. Wait for some time and then request another set of notes to see the progress. If the officer is satisfied he will clear your eligibility or send you a PFL with the exact concerns, which you can then address in your response.

Any updates @Gruff did you call yet?

Haven’t called yet, decided to wait for the 6 month mark which is today so they can’t say to check the tracker etc (And I haven’t had time off work when I can call them early)

However I’m finishing work at 7AM Canadian time today so I’ll be home in time to get on the phone to them and wait all day till I get through!
