How can I start and what is most difficult aspect for applying for the visa?
You can start researching the EE or PNP streams and see which ones are you eligible for. If you have any particular questions feel free to message me. Happy to help.

Yes, even an old reference letter stating the tenure will work fine if you are not able to obtain an updated one.
My past experience in the last ten years is of around 6 years. That's more than enough for both FSW and CRS. However, the Noc code is different from current experience because in the current one, I am a manager.

Am I still supposed to put current employment in work experience?

Hi,
I have doubts regarding my husband qualification and work exp for score.
1. He is pursuing MTech + PhD in Part-time evening college. He's done with his semesters only Project work and research approval is remaining. will that count for our score?
Can I send my Mtech Semester(theory part's transcripts to WES)?
2. He also has some patents(research patents with US Patent committee) on his name. Will that fetch anyway for the score?
If Yes, How do I get it reflected to the score??
3. He's 30 now with 8.5 years experience as of now and I'm 28 with 6.5 years experience(B.Tech). we are yet to give our ielts. As of now, both of us stand between 6.5 and 7 in the mock tests.
In this case, Who can be preferred as primary applicant?

Hi,

This will likely be part-time. Did you take any classes? University are normally very clear about this on enrolment documents etc.

Nevertheless, foreign education gained while studying part-time or full time is accepted and treated the same. So don't stress, just put what you were.

Regards

Good!
You have a strong case. Well, to start off, when is your husband expecting to graduate? If it is withing a six month period, I suggest that you let him be the principal applicant because of his advanced studies. You will definitely get more points.
Finally, prepare well for your IELTS exam and make sure you get into band 7 of CLB score. Good luck.

Has anyone who submitted their eAPR application faced any problem when paying the fees online?
And if there is a problem or error in the transaction is it possible to go back to your application and try to submit then pay another day? Or do you get only on chance to pay after submission? I am very worried can anyone help

Hello Friends, kindly advice me on following points :

1. I have a son who is 1.5 years old, so his medical is also required ?

2. I stayed in canada for around 9 months in 2011, so do i need pcc from canada too ?

3. Can we apply for pcc before ITA ?

4. Need advice on noc determination, like it should be matched with current job ?

5. Need sample of reference letters.

6. Heard about biometrics after 31dec, how it works, what we have to do ?

Experts kindly advice on the above points.
CRS SCORE : 480

hi Team,
1 week earlier i created my express entry profile at the time my score was coming as 462, but today the status of the application says that i am ineligible for express entry. at the time of submission it was showing as eligible- i have a masters degree and have 1 year of work experience in the field, ielts score is l-8, r-9, w-7,s-7. and i have blood relation as well in canada. Can you please let me know if there are any changes to immigration policy for express entry? Also do we need to send bio metrics at the time of creating the application-i havent sent it and can this be the reason?
Thanks!

It's all on the CIC site: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/index.asp

But...

(Please note that this info does not apply to the Federal Skilled Trades Program)

1) Determine your eligibility by doing this CIC quiz http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp

2) Get your language test(s) done. You must get at least CLB 7 in each of the four sections for the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) or Canadian Experience Class (CEC) streams. But getting CLB 10 gives you maximum points for language.

How does CLB match back to the language tests? That info is here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/language/charts.asp

3) Get your qualifications assessed by doing an Education Credential Assessment. Details here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/assessment.asp

4) Determine the code that best applies to you on the National Occupation Classification (NOC) list http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp

The occupation must be NOC 0, A, or B for FSW or CEC.

5) When you have those in hand you create your express entry profile. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/profile.asp and register for the Job Bank http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/home-eng.do?lang=eng

You'll be given points based on your age, education, number of years work experience, and language skills. The points system is detailed here --> http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/express-entry/grid-crs.asp

You'll be in a pool with thousands of other applicants http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/pool.asp

Of course, the more points you have the better. The max is 1200, with 600 of those points coming from your ability to snag a PNP or a job offer with a very hard to get Labour Market Impact Assessment http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/work/employers/lmo-basics.asp

For CEC applicants, the max is 600 but someone who has no work experience in Canada who is only eligible for FSW can only get up to 520 points.

6) Finally, wait for your invitation to apply (ITA). But in the interim you will need to do the following:

a) Have your application fee (C$550 each for principal applicant and spouse) and right of permanent resident fee (C$490 each for principal applicant and spouse) ready
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/fees.asp

b) Identify how you will provide proof of funds http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

c) check out what is required for the police certificates http://www.cic.gc.ca/English/information/security/police-cert/index.asp

d) find out how long it takes to get a date for the medical exam. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/medical/medexams-perm.asp

e) contact previous and current employers about them providing job letters. You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week. Work experience while you were a full-time student does not count.

f) research cities in the province(s) where you want to live.
What if I have CLB 6 but not in all the 4
am 31 and my husband is 36 are we eligible.
