But how did that happen in your case because CIC don't work on weekends, as far as I know
They sometimes do, this is the second time I’ve seen em sending email on the weekend.
Oh okay that's good to know that they do updates on the weekend too
I guess everything is possible with CIC

Mine was also received on Saturday. I guess the system is set up to deliver the mail at a certain time.
My husband just got his notice to appear for a proceeding under subsection 44(2) and we have not got our AOR yet.
I am freaking out.
Our application was received December 13.
And the interview is January 8th 2019.

If we they issue a inadmissible letter out application will be not accepted.

How long have you guys married for? And if he was refused an extension how long did it takes prior your wedding?
Did u guys submitted adequate proof that your marriage is genuine?
He is out of status. We’ve been married since September and yes we had lots of proof of genuine relationship, pictures, call records for like
Don’t freak out, if this proceeding is regarding the PR sponsorship then u can use all those proofs to present. There is nothing there to freak out abt, your relationship is genuine just go over the documents you guys sent and bring lots of proofs when going on the 8th.
