Got pre arrival on dec 4, no update after that, not even decision made yet. So worried why is it taking that long for decision made. This is even worse that having no update.

Ah ok...I missed the second line. I went and checked my ecas. It is now showing as
"We started processing your application on December 17, 2018."

my application got transferred to nvdo on nov 21. since then no update. i hate this visa office. cpc-Mississauga processed applications submitted two months after mine. seriously i hate the entire BPM of NVDO.

I am just little worried now
App recieved 27 August
Aor1- 20 November
Sa and med req- 27 nov
Med done- 10 December
Med passed 13 December
Silence since then no transfer email or anything
Pa- India ,vO -NDVO
I know most people get transfer email by now and in most cases within 10-15 days of med request
Does this mean they arnt even touching our file now or is it going to ndvo??
If so why there is so much delay in transfer email ?
Any insights will be highly appreciated

You do not need to worry at all. Our file got transferred after 3 months of the medical request. And there are many cases like ours. You have just experienced 3 weeks silence so far. Hopefully, you’d hear about the transfer soon. Besides, the visa officers might speed up after the xmas holidays. So, stay put and be positive.

Our lead Officer has gone on 3 month's Stress Leave, and poor file is sitting on his table in Canada (JULY Applicant) There they are on STRESS here we most are in stress !!! LOL J A joke guys but it almost that situation. hahaa

Nah! Not yet! They transferred my file to NDVO a few days ago. Will take approx. 2 weeks for my file to reach NDVO and then it might take another few months to get processed. That’s how I observe things are trending these days.
