Hi everyone. I am about to make an application for my in-laws to visit canada under the parent supervisa.
They come from a small village, nothing is really registered not even their marriage. They are average people of the area and doubt their income or bank accounts will show for very much when converted into canadian dollars. They work but nothing is really official his mother does farming and sells her goods. The father owns a truck and does his own jobs through a union. They are on their way to retirement. They own a home, but it may now be in sons name not sure. All of the family is still in India only my husband is here. Also for proof of ties to home country i was thinking of adding that there is literally no one who speaks their language *ladakhi* in quebec except for my husband and one other man, they would hate to live here and only wish to visit for a short time. We are expecting our first child in the summer and would love to have them come to visit to meet the baby and spend some time. Please any advice would be greatly appreciated. It is very difficult for them to do all the procedures as there are no offices in their area and they have to travel by plane to do anything. They are currently in another city doing their medical exam by panel physician. Do you think the ties will be sufficient? Will our income and proof of supporting them while they are here be enough? I feel like if they are refused they will not be open to trying again as they dont even think they will be approved to begin with. they have never traveled outside of india.

You must include a copy of your husband's birth certificate or his passport that states their names as your parents.

Any evidence for each of these points would suffice. Do remember some reasonable ties are necessary unlike for TRV applications.

All of the family is still in India only my husband is here. Also for proof of ties to home country i was thinking of adding that there is literally no one who speaks their language *ladakhi* in quebec except for my husband and one other man, they would hate to live here and only wish to visit for a short time.
It would be incorrect to presume there's no one else that speaks *ladakhi* in Quebec. Nor is this a reason for visiting for a short time.

We are expecting our first child in the summer and would love to have them come to visit to meet the baby and spend some time.
It's not advisable to mention anything about your pregnancy nor the baby as it can be viewed as working illegally as a visitor.

Will our income and proof of supporting them while they are here be enough?
Will you be submitting your recent NOAs?

I feel like if they are refused they will not be open to trying again as they dont even think they will be approved to begin with. they have never traveled outside of india.
If they are not comfortable in visiting Canada then it's probably not a good idea to apply for them. Seniors/parents might feel lonely and uncomfortable if they are removed from their comfort zone and their circle of friends/family especially in this case (super visa long stays)

Thank you Bryanna for your reply
I will make sure not to mention the pregnancy and i will be submitting NOA and proof of ownership of our home. As for his parents they are comfortable coming for a short time. They would not be happy living here as I said there is literally one other man from their area its a very small community and they would know if there was someone else. They would be bored quickly i think. But a visit they would love and to meet their grandchild. I think the reason they wouldnt be open to trying again is because they really dont think its possible. they are from such as small village where they have never even owned a passport until this year. They dont think it can happen for them which is why i think if refused they would just give up. The plan is for a few months maybe the summer nothing more then that.
Thanks so much for your helpful information.
