Approved: we are family of 4 so 2 cards were approved on 27 Nov, one on 29th and last one on 3rd December.
Cards Received: We received all the cards on 8th December

On Monday I checked with CIC and they are still processing pictures received before October 12th. My process is at 97 days at this moment, 51 since photo arrived at the processing center...this is ridiculous ! Not to mention my original photo was taken at Shoppers and confirmed by landing agent that it met the requirements. My wife took the photo at the same place and time and her process was approved back in October and card delivered.

Welcome to the mad mad world!! I think they just randomly pick people for photo requests, although some may be genuine. We hit the jackpot

Would the delivery timing be effected by Canada Post backlog?

Depends where you getting it delivered. Ontario is very much backlogged. That could be a probable yes.

The same here! They are processing the photos received before Oct 12th for 15 days already. I called them Nov 29 and yesterday I called again and got the same answer. I didnt even know which requirement my photo didnt meet. All of these are sooo confusing. Could you please update your timeline when your card is approved. Hope you get your card soon. Finger crossed.

They are having production issues Perse! Considering december they are understaffed and overwhelmed. There is another thing too, they won't know the status right away until production uploads it. This is what agent told me. Either it shouldn't be more than 6 weeks. Its just the process is not transparent an we don't know whats going on.

Yes indeed. I don’t see the point in grounding people when their PR has been approved.

I am not seeing any update on my Xpresspost, except that it may be delayed due to labour issues. I still have 10 days in hand. I hope Can Post deliver in time.

I got mine approved on 11th of Dec. Hope u will get it soon! Just call them to find the current status.

Landed on 11 October with wife.

Called them yesterday regarding status . They saison both cards under production.

I hope it arrives soon before January second week.

My card got approved today . My wife’s still in process.

There is no other process for the PR card. Link the application to you CIC account for tracking. You can expect the Card approval by 15th Feb looking at the current trend.

Same here.
I landed on Oct 12 at Regway border near to Regina and got the ghost update on Dec 5 after I called CIC on the same day.
I think we will get our PR card in 10-15 days.
