AOR- June 12, 2018 (Completed 6 months today)
FSW- Inland
Called CIC today, and she was sooooo friendly and nice. First of all I asked about my current status, and she said my security is going on. everything else is PASSED. Latest update made on my file was on July 26, 2018. That was the day when the officer requested to start the security check. My VO is still is Sydney. After completing 5 months, i emailed Ralph. She also said that Last month, MP made a call and talked to us regarding your application status. Ralph really helped us...!!!
Second thing I asked her was about the Progress Bar getting effective from today. On that she said that it is the general progression of everybody and it has nothing to do with an individual's application. It will not any any information about what is going on with our applications. It will be just the same information for everybody. Not a single specific detail about our application status.
Then I asked, that as I have completed 6 months today, when can I expect any news about PPR? She replied me saying "Mam you are very lucky to pass your Eligibilty, as that is the biggest hurdle. There are many people who has worse scenario then yours. The volume of files is so huge that the processing has been delayed. Its not just the express entry, the overall applications they are receiving, including student visa, temporary work visa, LMIA's and visitor visa." She just told me to hang in there and wait as any day could be that lucky day where we can get our PPR. At the end she wished me Happy Holidays which Kinda made me tensed as that gave me a hint that I need to wait till 2019 now....

you are certainly lucky. for passing eligibility, getting help from ralph,getting your call connected and to top that getting a nice agent who explained you everything patiently. thats the luckiest person alive right there.
please dont overthink about any hints. you seems to be progressing nicely and very soon will have PPR.
