Hello Every1 - Could you please clarify the below queries.

1. How do we link PR card application ? Is it different from the application / profile created to apply for PR.
2 . IN my profile I see the Final decision as "Approved " , so this status is for my COPR or PR card ?
3. And how do I get to know if cic mailed my PR card or not ?

Note : I landed on Nov 22nd 2018.

Follow below steps only after you have landed. It gives only 5 attempts in one day.

1) Login to CIC account.
2) Go to section "Link an existing application to this account". Click on "Link application to this account" button.
3) Select category as PR Card
4) Select "Unique Client Identifier (UCI) and Family Name"
5) Fill required details (please make sure capital, small, comma etc.)
6) Provide landing date in "Date you became a permanent resident"
7) Click on search my application.
8) after application searched make sure you submit application else not linked.

However, for some people linking becomes impossible. This is primarily because people put their birth city not as per what is written in your passport. Birth city has to match exactly as in Passport including punctuation marks if any.

Once you have successfully linked your application it will shown you as "Submited" status and once it is ready for dispatch it will go into "Approved" status.

If you receive any photo request then it will not change any status. Regularly check PR card processing time on CIC website as photo request or PR card approval both come in last 5-10 days (i.e if processing time is 63 days then after 55 days you will be able to see some movement.)Hope it will work.

Mostly you'll see a ghost update in 45-50 days from landing. And then the status will be approved in another 10-15 days. Provided you don't get a photo request.

Yes your location matters as the cards are all mailed from Sydney. I am waiting for my cards since 29-Nov when it was approved. Hoping I'll get it today.

What exactly happens after ghost update?

It might take 10-15 days to get the card approved. Count another 3-5 days for Delivery if living in Ontario.

Hello, Did anyone send photos in mail with Canada Post Xpresspost on or around 6th Dec 2018 from Ontario to Sydney, NS? Normally, how many days it takes to get documents mail delivered with Canada Post Xpresspost?

Landed in Mid Oct 2018. I got a photo request on 6th Dec 2018. So, sent photos and document mail the same day through Xpresspost to get it delivered faster and track it online. Next day, it was showing expected delivery date 12th Dec. After that, its adding days everyday and now its showing Expected delivery date 17th Dec 2018 How is this an express service?

It's a really frustrating situation.

You should never have sent using canada post... as their are backlogs in that zone ... should have sent courier using ups or fedex
