In Montreal thread US based June applicant got PPR. Now I am thinking I wish my file was at Montreal
Some findings from Immitracker.
- 2017 Dec had 352 PPRs. Although its lesser than any of the other second-half months of 2017, it is better than any of the first-half months of 2017 as well.
- Highest number of PPRs reported for Dec 2017 was on 19th (59 PPRs). Of course this means that they want to clear as much as they can before the holiday season. So we have another reason to expect that Rain / Tsunami / Storm on 21st Dec, the last Friday before holiday season.
- Also, Except 24, 25 and 26th Dec, almost all the other days, there were PPRs given (except Sundays).
Guys -
I received my GCMS notes and the notes at the end of the documents says , "File reviewed. Eligibility passed, Criminality passed, Security not started, integrated search complete - No adverse info found. Final approval pending."
However - at the start of the GCMS documents it says -
Eligibility: Passed
Security:
HIRV:
Criminality: Not Started
Org Crime:
Medicals: Passed
Misinterpretation:
Info Sharing: Complete
Other Reqs:
Final:
There is a contradiction in the Criminality clause. Is this normal? And what exactly happens in Security?

I don't really know now whether this timelines and data from previous trends mean anything...
I get hopeful each time I read some positive messages about processing times/PPR/even Mondays/system maintenance and get nervous when I get to know that thr are people who have been waiting longer than us too.
On top of everything we were asked to call ONLY after 6months..whereas the scenario doesn't even change here.. IRCC agents still can't give us any better status update.
Hope this roller coaster ride of mixed feelings end soon.
Back to square one.."Wait" is all that we can do.

Agents never told me its approved - they have said we have completed your verification process/ we have completed your BG check. When I asked if anything else is left, they said just the email for passport request. So I guess thats why you got that response about the application being approved. When I once asked so its approved? The agent said we have completed everything but since you havent gotten the email yet, its still under process. Even last Friday when I called, the agent asked me to wait till 6 months completion. The first time I called after the ghost update, the agent had asked me specifically to wait till the first week of December is over and call if I dont get PPR. I will wait till Friday and call.
But don’t you think it’s high time we receive golden emails as that was the only part left?
I really wish everything works out well for all of us.
My friend who applied aor july 15 from uae and visa office london had additional document request for eye colour and height about 20 days back and ip2 around 27 oct.got ppr today.
As he applied from UAE I am assuming he is an FSW-O candidate like us. If that's true, then it is about the Visa Office that our files are getting delayed.
Yes, they said only assigning to LVO is pending, file is approved. So assigning to LVO might be that last crucial step or any task associated which we don't know.
@CoolSandy, any luck on the PPR by staying away and avoiding your brothers and sisters on this forum?
