Help!!

I received a request from the local visa office (after I emailed them asking about the status of my application) asking for Schedule A Online and a police certificate.

I uploaded the schedule A form and emailed them a copy. They replied by saying that I did not "electronically signed the form." I had signed it by typing my full name, date, and then clicked on "Validate", but when I uploaded it to my account, I did not continue with submitting the files because I was still waiting for the police certificate. I thought that was the reason, so I waited until I received the police certificate and submitted and transmitted all the documents. I sent them an email telling them about this, but the next day I received a message in my account telling to upload

"Schedule A Online: The online form has still not been validated and signed electronically. The form thus remains as author unverified and we cannot take into account the information provided. We encourage you to validate and submit your Schedule A online."

Is there another way of signing the form electronically other than typing my name, the date, and then clicking on Validate? What do they mean when they said that the form "remains as author unverified"?

Any similar experiences?

Thanks
After filling it electronically, print it and sign it by hand then scan it again and send it. (or you could place you signature if you have it scanned). Your signature should be similar to your passport signature.

A sad news to share guys, my uncle has passed away today in Ottawa. He had cancer. When I applied for PR, I thought I'd be able to meet him but now its never gonna happen :(
Sigh...
Bhai, sorry to hear this and for your loss. May his soul RIP - thoughts and prayers with you & your family.

Someone posted on April AoR that IRCC has mailed him paper PPR, you can read it here
Looks like IRCC want to try all sorts of weird things before 2018 comes to an endo_O:oops::rolleyes:
Hopefully they experiment giving citizenship right away with my application :D:D:D

No wonder the GCMS take so long :D
It's quite weird by the way.. Last time I ordered the notes on October 1st, it took 30 days, so when I got it I actually saw that it was auto-generated on October 2nd.
So a 1 million dollar question - what did they do the rest 29 days???:D As I understand it is just a one-click document generation, what's the problem to release it as soon as it is generatedo_O

The actual work is probably one click for report generation. But I think they have internal controls to make sure no information gets out which is not supposed to go out. Mainly this information is related to security checks and many people in security screening have seen their notes to be redacted. My guess is that someone manually scrolls through the notes and checks it. And I would assume this process would be done by at least two individuals as a fail safe mechanism. And if you bring in human intervention to an otherwise digital process it will increase the processing timelines. All this is an educated guess or intelligent speculation on my part if such things exist. If you think they don't you can disregard the whole post.
