Hi all, just wanna share my timeline here. Single applicant from Toronto. Passed test with 20/20 and status changed to DM after 2 days.

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on January 4, 2018.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on February 11, 2018.
3. We started processing your application on March 7, 2018.
4. We sent you a notice on November 2, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on November 22, 2018 at 10:15 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
5. Changed to Decision Made on Nov 24.

A quick summery of my timeline.

Application sent in February (Missisissauga, Ontario)
AOR April
Moved from Ontario to Edmonton for work in April so I transferred my file (after AOR)
Test invite received for November 14 (passed)
Oat invite received today for December 17th.

Hello Qureshi, I am also waiting since June 13 for the Oath. But due to the summer holidays they told me to wait and will hear from them within 12 months. Jan 1st week will be my anniversary. Now they are clearing people who got test invite in sept/oct/nov 2018 . There are people waiting like you and me since oct 2017.
No first come first serve business.
Lastly again the Holidays season is approaching and I guess we could hear something by only Jan or Feb 2019.

I sent my application on January 12, 2018 and FedEx delivered it on January 17, 2018. IRCC shows it as received on January 19, 2018. AOR was received on February 23, 2018. e-CAS Shows that they started processing it on April 4, 2018.

The local office is Vancouver. This will be my second application; the first was rejected in late August 2017 (originally filed in January 2015, test in July 2105, RQ in August 2015) on residency grounds (the CJ chose the physical presence test).

Basic Residence: 1826
Physical Presence: 1441

October 24, 2017 received test/interview letter for November 27 (Vancouver).
November 27, 2017 passed test, officer refused to approve because I did not have current CBP entry/exit records.

So my current India passport is expiring in 2-3 weeks. And my citizenship application is in process since July.
I'm wondering if I can request urgent processing based on wedding to attend in India ?
Because I dont want to renew my India passport for another 10 years when I know I've to cancel it regardless once I get my citizenship.
Please help.

You may try to contact them by phone or webform to check. However I believe that your chances are very low to get urgent processing. As you have an alternate solution to go to India (ie renew Indian passport) I'm pretty sure it won't work.
