Accompanying minor with no custody orders after divorce

Hey guys
Is there anyone else applying outland with children from a previous marriage? I'm wondering as i dont have any custody papers as my ex never filed for custody and the kids have been with me 100% of the time since I kicked him out 4-5 ago. He did however sign the consent imm5406 (notorised) for them to leave with me there mum from our home in Australia. Do you guys think there will be an issue? My son has turned 18 since getting the forms and I have sent new forms in fir him knowing they are now needed.our app was originally August but returned Oct. And recieved again oct 31st. Our story is met online 2014 first flew to Canada 2015. He flew here 2016 2 times engaged xmas visit 2016 but no party . Flew to Canada 2017 married there Sept. In registry office then went to restaurant. Lol . Then no honey moon till March 2018 when he came here and we had a cruise. Never lived together . Not had any big parties as I dont like them lol. Hope cic dont delay becuase we arent party people.

Along with the signed form you should provide a letter of explanation stating why you don't have a custody order and the current arrangement with your children.

Do you have any divorce papers from the previous marriage?

Yes I sent the divorce papers a copy of a letter our lawyer wrote stating my divorce was legit the letter from Ontario government that allowed me the remarry and our marriage certificate

A letter of explanation should be enough then. Explain that your child's other parent is allowing the move, as per the form, and you do not have any current custody arrangements. Also, if you're child is over the age of 18, you can just reiterate that in the letter of explanation. This is all just so you have something in place of the custody order, even though it seems redundant.

Thankyou for your replies I will send a letter through the webform once I get aor. It's really hard not to stress about things when you know the move us going to help your kids. My hubby and daughter have a very special bond. When she gets upset she always says I wish he was here mum.. she is 14
