Hi Guys,

Another so called ghost update on my profile. First update was on 23rd November, where my BGC status changed to 'We are processing your background check'. And today I logged in, by Review of Additional documents changed to 'Not Applicable' from 'We are reviewing addition document'.

Is this IP2? Hopefully should get PPR soon... may be in early December.

It only means that the submitted document has been reviewed and accepted, which is good. You're getting closer.

What all is included checked during background check...if anyone has defaulted against loan payment but has secured a safe PCC certificate from the country...will that be a threat to security check...no criminalisation has ever been recorded...any expert views...!!

I didn't check on Friday and Saturday. There was no mail update for this and saw this on the website today. So, I am not sure whether it came on the weekend or not.

Same AOR here, not even a ping after the Biometric update
"We're processing your background checks'

Same for me... AOR date is August 29th, and the BC status has always been "We're processing your background check...." since AOR. Never ever changed and no update since my spouse's biometrics were uploaded... Some other people who applied around the same time but do not need biometrics already changed from IP1 to IP2... I haven't even received a ghost update... don't know what's going on... Is the GC system totally unreliable now?
