Visitor visa for mom during my pregnancy

Need help!

I'm currently pregnant due in Feb 2nd week. I would like to apply for my mom's visitor visa from India to come and visit me at the time of delivery. I'm on my open work permit and working full time in Canada.
Please advise what's the success rate to get her Visa with this reason?
* Processing Times are showing more than 40 days and have seen many threads where people waiting for 3 months to hear answer in third Vida category. So not sure if she can make it by the delivery date.

So we are also considering the option to apply her visitor visa from USA (processing Times are 8 days). She can visit my brother and apply from there. She had US visitor visa but never visited before. What's the best option?

She should apply from her home country. It's hard to guess processing times - could be anywhere from a few days to several months.

There is a lower chance of approval if she applies from the US. Also, she should not expect that processing times will be 8 days if she applies from the US. She should expect processing to take several months since she will only be in the US as a visitor.

If she has valid US visa ( even though she didn't travel), then she might be eligible for CAN+ processing and might get visa in 4 days.

Also, visiting for a baby delivery is not a valid reason to visit Canada as it can be construed as illegal work.

I would not mention anything about the baby or anything along the same lines. I would also not include a doctor's note

Thanks Bryanna, do you happen to know the best possible way to apply for visa? Online or paper based? Which one has the less processing times from India? We need this visa very urgently as my delivery date is getting closer, so is it 100% sure that she will get can+ Visa?

Also, what do you think is the best reason to mention for her visit?
