Visitor's visa submitted via online in London-help

Hi everyone,

I submitted my application via online last June 12, 2018.. But unfortunately, no results yet until now.. I received an email from cic last november 9 saying that there's no update on my application. I already emailed the London visa office twice, received same reply saying my applicstion is still under active process.. It's been 5 months since I applied. I don't know what to do now. Any same situation as mine? Thanks

You can wait, or you can withdraw your application for a visa. I'd encourage you to just wait to see what happens, since you need a visa to enter Canada.

2. Do you have temporary immigration status in the UK?

You can wait, or you can withdraw your application for a visa. I'd encourage you to just wait to see what happens, since you need a visa to enter Canada.

It's pretty unusual that processing has taken this long. It's possible that some other checks are being done. There's nothing else you can do but to wait

Yeah, I got similar case I applied online from Nigeria but my application was processed in London. Final decision came on the 14th November unfortunately my visa was refused on the grounds that he feels I may not leave Canada after my short studies. Bryanna could you please advice me on what to do next?

Yeah, I got similar case I applied online from Nigeria but my application was processed in London. Final decision came on the 14th November unfortunately my visa was refused on the grounds that he feels I may not leave Canada after my short studies. Bryanna could you please advice me on what to do next?

I believe your refusal is most likely due to the influx of Nigerians who have been claiming asylum recently

My study is on scholarship from global Affairs Canada and my local organization a non-profit non-governmental organization. We actually have a signed agreement with GAC stating I must return home to my family & country as soon as I complete my studies. I don't have any intention of staying back in Canada. OR should I start a fresh visa application for 2019 intake?

A judicial review of your application is an expensive process that could take time.

You must order GCMS notes (case notes made when the visa officer evaluated your application). Maybe you could get more insight into why your application was refused. This process could take about one month. You can then apply again if you have new evidence and explanations
