How to get Visa Refusal Letter after getting Visa Approved ?

Hi All,

I have applied for Visa and got approved for Fall 2018 intake but I did not submit my passport as I would like to withdrawn my plans to go to Canada due to some financial problems. I had paid the GIC amount to Scotia Bank and now I would like to get the amount back, for that the Scotia Bank representatives said that I need a Visa Refusal Letter. I have mailed to "DELHIIMMIGRATION@international.gc.ca" , on October 12th 2018, regarding my visa refusal letter and got an automatic reply that it takes 15 working days for the reply but till now i.e., November 14th 2018, I did not get any reply from them.

Could any one suggest me how to proceed further ? As without refusal letter it is difficult to get my GIC amount from Scotia Bank.

I have contacted Scotia Bank representatives on phone but they said that refusal letter is compulsory

I am talking about the embassy. Contact the embassy on phone . Since you hardly get a reply from them through email

today morning i have called the embassy i.e, high commission they said that they will answer only through mail
and i said it has been 1 month they you have to wait or send another email

I am very confused what to do??

Did you try requesting the refund online? Refusal letter seems to be optional.

I called Scotia Bank representatives, they said that once I claim the refund online they will send my application number to Canada High Commission and high commission will give them the status of the application like Visa rejected or Visa approved. If it is rejected they will refund the amount and if it is not rejected then will not refund. And they its better to get a refusal letter and apply for refund so that you get the amount in one month
