October 25 moved to ip2 and ghost update thereafter.
Nov 1 PPR!!!!!

My gcms notes had below mentioned observations-
18/4/2018 settlement fund - review required family of 4 requires CAD $23181 (i have fund of CAD$ 25700)
19/4/2018 Settlement funds - Appears to meet CAD$25700.

This is worrying me.Should I send Proof of fund statements again??

@legalfalcon need your suggestion.

So, after many attempts the last few weeks I was finally able to speak to an agent. She told me that everything seems in order and my Security was completed two days ago, the same day I got a ghost update. She also mentioned that I should be contacted in the next few days.

I asked her if that means that my application is approved and she said "Not approved but they will make the final decision soon." Could they still reject me even after completing Security?

My visa office is still Sydney.

I think it is highly improbable to get a rejection now. I wish you a speedy PPR.

So after so many attempts to call cic, I manage to talk to them finally today, just to know that my application is still in processing and the guy on the other side refused to reveal any information on my application actual status in terms of background check or other stuff. As per that guy, all my documents are fine, it's just that the officer needs some more time to go through my documents.

It's been 7 and a half months now. I did not know about ATIP until recently and I requested for one last week itself. My visa office is Ottawa that's the only thing I know. Is there anything else as well that I should do in order to get more clarity on my application status?

Also, I am currently on closed WP though my company and is about to expire on 30th Jan 2019. Since I have applied for PR, now my company is a bit hesitant to file an extension.

I read something about BOWP and I'm just thinking if I should apply on my own for the same. Is there anyone who is in a similar situation as I am?
If yes, then did you need any kind of a letter from your company while filing BOWP?

Btw congratulations to people who are finally getting their PPR. This keeps me stay hopeful.

Appreciate any help.

My application status:

AOR - 14th March
Medical Passed - 21st March
Saw one ghost update few months ago.

Taking cue I went ahead and updated my proof of funds , providing necessary documentation.
I hope it serves the purpose. Forwarded to vo Ottawa . I hope it’s my visa office which is mentioned in my GCMS notes.

Can somebody help me if I should mail NDVO since I’m from Delhi, India. Though I could not find NDVO mentioned anywhere in my GCMS notes.

Some inputs please.

Dear xxxx - I spoke to IRCC regarding your application received Mar xx, 2018. It is at the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney.



I have good news – your file was approved Nov 5, 2018.



You will receive notification and instructions in the coming weeks.

Medicals are valid until Mar 9, 2019.
