1- Apply to Quebec immigration in Nov 2015
2- I receive notifications to update my file Aug 2016 . ( I send update late month Nov 2016 )
3- I receive 2nd update to my file dec 2016
4- get approval in Feb 2017
5- transfer money March 2017
6- receive CSQ April 2017
7- Apply for federal May 2017
8- Receive AOR July 2017
No have any update until now

I am curious to know what the processing time after CSQ as the information I received from my agent is very different from what is stated on the CIC website. (around 2 years vs 46 months) He told me it is because of the country of origin/resident is the main factor...

Even my agent says time for PR is anything between 18-20 months for India applicants
But honestly this is an unknown territory. Presently post CSQ processing time shown in CIC website is 46 months .
No other authentic information is available . Processing is no longer centralized but applications can be sent across different VO for faster results ( I don’t know how this works as I don’t see the results)
Everyone seems to be waiting here impatiently for one thing or the other , giving the impression that there are delays galore
Patience is the key with no laid down procedure , confirmed timelines etc
It’s sad frustrating, but that’s how it is !

Applied for QIIP: July 2016.
Received instructions to transfer funds: Oct 2017
Received CSQ: November 2016.
First applied for Federal: Dec 2017
AOR and processing started: March 2018
CIC sent message for clear legible copy of Birth Certificates: March 2018. Some misunderstanding a confusion resulted in CIC returning our file in May 2018.
Reapplied for Federal: July 2018
AOR and start of processing for reapplied application: Oct 2018
No further information.

Are you of Chinese nationality ?. Or a non Chinese national applied from Beijing ?.

Yoir lawyer / immigration agent is based at Quebec ?.

Thank you all for replaying and sharing your processing time ,,, actually I’m not Chinese citizen I’m from Middle East but my company and work in China so I apply from China then must processing my application in Beijing . Due to my applying location and and my Chinese PR . And I apply under QIIP city of Montreal with Lawyer in Montreal ,,, please all not be
hesitate to ask any Question you need and I’m always ready to Replay you .
