Open work permit to take up intra company job opening ?

Currently i am based in India. Assuming i got open work permit applied under the category "open work permit for spouse of international student studying in canada. Am I allowed take up job opening posted by my current Indian employer for their Canada office ?

If I don't have an open work permit my company would have to apply for intra company transfer visa. Now that I already have (assuming), am I allowed to work with that permit ?

1. If you get an open work permit, you can work for whoever you wish in Canada. Though there is no guarantee that you will get one.
