does anyone here who submitted there application on 1st week of august that has AOR? and when did you get the AOR?coz i submitted my app last aug 5 and its almost 3 months now i didnt get any letter or AOR coz as what ive read in here they normally get aor within a month or 2..

Hey guys apologies to post this here but I am frustrated with not finding an answer.

Can someone please help me with this predicament.

I am sure this question has been clarified before, but someone please help me. My eligibility period is Oct 2013 to Oct 2018. I became a PR in June 2016. So for the temporary status before June 2018 what should I put the start and end dates for International Student and Temporary resident worker?

International student
From date: Start date of eligibility period End date: Start date of Post grad work permit or Day before my post grad work permit

Temporary resident holder
From date: Start date of my work permit To date: End date of work permit or day before the day I became PR?

Can someone please clarify?

Does anyone know if having your test at a temp CIC office have their ceremony the day after? Or do you wait for the next time they have their office set up?

Hi Guys,
I have a question regarding the oath ceremony. I am thinking not to take my son who is 5 to the ceremony (he is eligible to receive it as well) . It is written that it is not a must to take small kids under 14 who are eligible. I was thinking if somebody did take the kids or didn't take them, what do you think? I just think that sitting for 2 hours will be hard on him and we might be asked to leave the ceremony..no other family will attend the ceremony so..

Test and interview passed today

The officer asked to provide translation for the passports stamps.
I believe thatwould delay is few weeks but nothing can be done.

Did anyone had this before and what the process to follow?

Someone I know applied after me, but got in process a day before mine (April 30) and he completed Oath recently. I am thinking April 30th is cut off. Anyone from May 1 In Process in London ON starts after all the previous are cleared. Probably Back log issue. Its unfortunate to be in that cut off for us. Hope they start moving forward soon.

I have a friend who lives in Whitehorse, and he flew down to Vancouver to take his test and oath on the same day. His notification letter clearly indicated that it was a combined invitation for both. It offered him a choice of dates, indicated that taking the oath was of course dependant on him passing the test, and also that it was a limited opportunity so he needed to respond quickly.

If you have just received a test invite and there is no mention of the oath, then you should assume that it will not be the day after and that you will need to wait for a separate invitation to your oath at a later date.
