Unfortunately, my application was returned today. Question 11 table was empty. Even though the wording stated you enter details in the table if you were employed or studied. Apparently I should have stated just homemaker in the table for the eligibility period.

Question for the forum: Can I still resend the same pictures? They were taken in June 2018 and if the application is received in November, will still be within 6 month period. Also, the letter asked to include original signature date for physical date calculation. I guess I cannot add another 2 months (Aug-Oct) to my eligibility period.

I am also changing my aoartment next week. So might have to update them if they're sending the AOR by post.

Hi,

I initially sent my citizenship application on Aug 2nd which was delivered on Aug 7th. After a week, I realized I may have forgotten to sign the application form so I sent my complete application package again on Aug 10th which was delivered on Aug 13th. In my second application, I included a letter explaining why I am re-sending the application. I did this to avoid delays in processing after talking to an agent in CIC call centre who advised me to simply re-send the application. Otherwise, I would have to wait for 3 months for my application to get returned and re-send it again.

Now, for both of my applications, I haven't received any AOR or communication from CIC confirming it has been received. I would like to know how long does it take to get AOR?

I live in Ottawa

Check the 2018 Spreadsheet for current processing times. You can find the link in forum signature. This will give you an idea how long it might take.
