I'm sponsoring my husband from congo. He has recieved his papers to go for medical and my file has been transferred to senegal. He wasnt able to get his medical done asap due to waiting for his childrens passports to come in (they said even though they are not coming, they have to have them for medical)
1. Do they still do the other processing while waiting for medical information or does it completely stop while they wait.
2. What happens next?

I submitted almost all the photos i had and the only photo i did not submit was the wedding knot photo as we did not do that.

If you do not have what they have requested, I suggest you write a detailed letter of explanation giving them as many honest reasons as possible as to why you did not have those ceremonies. You could also provide letters from other parties involved (like parents or family members) stating that the decision was unanimously agreed upon (if indeed it was) and giving reasons for this. That said, you may be required to appear for an interview, but at this point, I don't think your application will be refused for just this. Just be as honest as you can be--a consistent story is always good.

There's not really a special number. I just call their hotline then I select 2-2-0-1. You just have to keep trying every 10 minutes or so if you don't get connected right away.

You can try linking your application to GCKey if you'd like before you receive an AOR: https://onlineservices-servicesenligne-cic.fjgc-gccf.gc.ca/mycic/gccf?lang=eng&idp=gckey&svc=/mycic/start

Create an account. Click "Add (link) my application". Input PA's info (last name, first name, passport info, birthplace, etc.). You have 5 tries available every 24 hours.

You can also check on ECAS: https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/introduction.do?app=ecas
You have to use the sponsor's info there.

I got the AOR and SA already. I am trying to link my application online after 4 tries and still saying no update available. I filled all PA's details as well with the Application number, UCI and family name still same no application found. Is there a special way to link up the account. I went through permanent residence and not the permanent residence card. i also indicated one person on the application. Am i supposed to add all the PA's sibling/father in total on the application or just me and my spouse or just her. on the married status, im married so i stated married. I will appreciate the house help please. Thank you.

That is upsetting for sure... the wait is also killing me! Can't wait to receive my MR and hopefully by november/december getting PPR heheheheh... I am checking my GCKey like 3 times per day hahahaha, even tho I didn't get no messages on my e-mail, so I know the feeling...

Yup, you should add ALL ppl on the application. in my case, it was 2: Sponsor and PA.

I am supposed to access it via permanent residence and not the permanent residence card right? i filled everything and same no record of application and i already have the AOR and SA. DM also appeared already. is there another better way to go about this or i just have to wait. how long will the medical comes, will it appear on my email or my online app.

I am holding to to the thread that my husband might be here by Christmas... I just don't want to wait any longer! November is 6 months, and that seems to be pretty standard for Americans, so while I don't think there's a big chance, there is a small one!
I repeatedly check GC and ECAS and get sad when there's no update lol.
