First of all i want thank you for initiating the thread.
I have a couple of questions.
I applied for Bc pnp under express entry and the status is showing 'In process' since last week. Does that mean they are reviewing it? how long does it usually take?
i have heard that they call the workplace for confirmation? what questions do they generally ask?

Thats a good sign.

BC PNP normally takes 2 -3 months to approve. But sometimes it can be too fast too. I got BC PNP in just 1 week. If you are working in a good company approvals can be sometimes very fast. Because they wont check deeply if its genuine.

After getting BC PNP you will get 600 points and will get invitation for express entry. Once that is submitted its going to take 6 months. Normally FSW and CEC will get faster approvals than PNP.

Sometimes they use to call the workplace. You can talk to your employer to be ready for the following questions

1) Did he / she working as a full time permanent employee? (with no end date)

2) What is his salary?

3) What is his job title and job duties?

4) When did he joined?

5) How did you hired him?

6) Why you recommend him for this Provincial Nominee program

Normally it will be a 5 min call. But they never called in my case.

Thank you very much for the reply. Yes my employer mentioned in the job offer that they were posted the job position in WorkBC, indeed, company carrier websites for 60+ days. Also when I search this position in another website (ZipRecruiter site) I can see this position and the job details are still available but it currently showing this job has been closed now when we click on the lick.
I have taken the screenshots of this ad with all job details.

Please note that I am applying BC PNP outland (I am at outside Canada, from India) and also I am working for that company via remotely from India as a independent contractor. If I request to my employer that run the ad for this particular position again for 14 days then are there any issues for them like they will get resume from the candidates something like that.....

Only pending thing is run the ad of this position again in the websites as told by my lawyer it is mandatory for BC PNP. Rest of the all documents are in my hand and ready to apply the registration and proceed further. Kindly please confirm is it okay that without run the ad for this position again in the websites can I go ahead with the PNP registration and application.
Thanks
Hi,

Just read page 51 to 53 in the following document. that will give you a good idea.

https://www.welcomebc.ca/getmedia/14a55c84-1301-4959-8a5d-888785a2ac2a/BC-PNP-Skills-Immigration-and-Express-Entry-BC-Program-Guide.pdf.aspx

You already mentioned that your employer has posted the ad few months back. So in the above document it doesn't say to give ad again while you apply for BC PNP. They are not going to check such details. If your employer says that they have already posted ads that itself is the biggest proof. Also you can give the posted ad as supporting proof.

>> If I request to my employer that run the ad for this particular position again for 14 days then are there any issues for them like they will get resume from the candidates something like that.....

You already have job offer, offer of employment, recommendation letter etc. If employer is posting the ad again today then you have to change the dates in all other docs like job offer, offer of employment, recommendation letter etc. Other wise date mismatch will come.

I was invited in a recent BCPNP Draw for Express Entry Candidates.
I'm having a little trouble ensuring all of my documents are correctly formatted. I've looked over the Document Description provided on the BCPNP website but it is a little brief and I really don't want to make any errors.
For example: Recommendation letter, is it essential to include the process taken to hire someone for the position? Unfortunately, my workplace doesn't document this sort of info very effectively.
Also - I don't completely understand the difference between the Job offer form & the copy of the offer of employment?

Do you have any links to examples or templates I can compare my documents to?

Thank you!!

You have to add this. Please read the following
---
Recommendation letter: The supporting B.C. employer or B.C. Public Health Authority must submit a recommendation letter on behalf of the nominee applicant. This letter should outline why the employer is recommending the nominee applicant for permanent residence, why he or she is suitable for the position, how he or she would contribute to the company or organization and if applicable, outline the recruitment undertaken to hire this person.
---

I dont think employers will be willing to create recommendation letter. You can create it by yourself and can show it to employer and get signed in a company letter head. You can search google for samples

>> Also - I don't completely understand the difference between the Job offer form & the copy of the offer of employment?

>> offer of employment
the one that you get from company when you get job that includes job title, duties, salary, time and other benefits

>> job offer

Employer should provide following docs

BC PNP job offer form
Employer recommendation letter
Copy of the offer of employment
Detailed job description
Company information
Copy of the Certificate of Incorporation (or legal equivalent)
Copy of the valid municipal Business License
Evidence of recruitment efforts (if applicable)

>>I mean does he need an LMIA in bcpnp.or any other approval from the govt to hire me?

No need of LMIA or govt approval. Just tell him to give the above docs

>> How long can it take for him to get that?

he can give all this in a single day if he is not busy.

>> Whats the process after that?

You have to submit all the docs in BC PNP site. then you may have to wait for 2 -3 months

Express entry International graduate

Not sure which certificate. . BC PNP doesnt need LMIA or govt approval. Submit all docs and wait 2-3 months. Employer can give docs in a single day if he/she is not busy

The B.C. employer must provide:
BC PNP job offer form
Employer recommendation letter
Copy of the offer of employment
Detailed job description
Company information
Copy of the Certificate of Incorporation (or legal equivalent)
Copy of the valid municipal Business License
Evidence of recruitment efforts (if applicable)
