we are in look out for a 1BHK with private bathroom with kitchen and laundry breakfast and dinner for the 1 st week in a condo or home stay for my son new immigrant from India a bachelor, he would move out once he finds a job, air bnb seems very exorbitant, pl suggest if any one of you have an option

Airbnb is generally a more reasonable way to go than hotels. Given you're looking for a place that will serve both breakfast and dinner and are also only looking for something short term - a hotel may be your only option.

In Downtown Toranto or any suburb which has access to public transport, checked airbnb they seem to be pricy, can be around 500 to 750 Cad, are there any hostel option in this range

For that price range you should look at renting a single room where the bathroom and kitchen would be shared with other people and no meals are provided. I would check craigslist under shared accommodations.
