Well everyone is hoping for a draw today including me. Infact I have done analysis of 2017 and 2018 draws to understand if there could be a possible draw today. In 2017 on a couple of occasion there were 3 draws in a month. But in 2018 none. Infact people believe that from 2018 the first draw happen in the second week of the month.

If there is a draw today then we can have 7 draws till end of the year. Dates are 3rd Oct / 17 Oct / 31st Oct / 14 Nov / 28th Nov / 12 December / 26th Dec. However 26th December is pretty close to Christmas so that may not happen which leaves to only 6 draws.

Otherwise if there is delay of a week draws can be on 10th Oct / 24th Oct / 7th Nov / 21st Nov / 5th Dec / 19th Dec.

The last draw in 2017 was 20th Dec so this seems to be possible.

We lost by cut off date 3 times already

That in fact has been very infuriating.

I hope that the CIC clears off all the profiles sitting at 440 for once. Which in a way would open up doors for the ones below 440.

If there are 6 draws, how do they then catch up with the 2017 ITAs.

To catch up, there is a difference of approx. 24k. If done over 6 rounds, that is an average of 4k per round. Meanwhile, the plan of IRCC is to exceed 2017 levels.

Well hope this is true. But even if they do draw today in this year there will be only 6 draws as the 7th draw falls on 26th December which is a distant possibility in my view as it's a holiday week.

Still I am too eagerly waiting for a draw today as I am at 445 and can't afford a draw on 10th October as that will make my chances of getting picked bleak in this round.
