Hi guys i need help my father in law applied TRV from USA and he is in usa on visitor visa. Today He got medical request. Iam shocked IRCC website says generally they donot require medical in TRV application for vist of six months and less. How could they send medical. Is it error? What should i do??

Sometimes when an elderly person is traveling from The USA to Canada, The Canadian authorities can ask for a medical examination to make sure the applicant won't be a burden on the Medical System in Canada.
But my question is he is applying third time. He had applied twice from back home and was never asked for medical and he was planning to visit for 10 days to canada and next week he is leaving back to home country. Can he do medical from backhome?
UR questioning as if he has criminal activity. it just medical tests. what the big deal in doing it when ask to do ?
yes he can do anywhere in the world with authorized person for medicals.
He has no issue to undergo for medical but this is unsual request in case of TRV. He will complete medical from backhome but if his application gets approved and passport requested than do he need to travel back usa or he can submit at back home?
As said above, it has been requested, so it must be done. When was he last in Canada and for how long? He can submit the passport back home.

He will have to undergo a Medical Examination if he wants a visa granted. Otherwise he can withdraw his application. His visa is now subject to the medical exam.
He didn't get a medical request because he was going to get rejected. Pretty standard to get a medical request I some areas of the world especially if you are older. Canada wants to avoid things like communicable diseases like TB entering the country with visitors. Not sure why you waited until the last minute.
