PCC India: PSK or multiple places?

Hello,

For Indian PCC, is PSK PCC sufficient or do you also have to get police clearance from local police offices?

After 18 years of age, I have lived at multiple places.
Some people are telling me to get PCCs from local police station of all the addresses (where I have lived for more than 6 months).

I will be specially thankful if someone who recently got a PR could help me out.

No need for multiple PCCs. PCC from PSK covers stay all over India.

Thanks! Some people have been telling me that recently some applications have been rejected because IRCC stated the absence of PCCs from previous years of stay.
I was pretty sure that PSK PCC is enough, I wanted to confirm still.

I have seen a recent rejection because of a PCC from Police Station.
Having said that, I would advice you to rather follow Canada.ca website.
Everything is written in simple english

For residents of other states: You can apply at your local district police station.

For all residents of India: You can apply for a Police Clearance Certificate from the Passport office on the Passport India website. The website will list what information and documents you need.

Thanks Mr. Preet. Does that mean that one PCC from PSK should be sufficient enough? Also what if one had lived on addresses in Punjab, do they require any verification by SSP/other officers?

No, PCC from PSK is enough for Complete India. I had lived in more than 10 addresses in India, however with one PCC i got PR.

I am living presently in X city of Gujarat State in India and my homwtowh is Y city of Gujarat State in India.

I am going to apply in Canada PR and in Background check form they are asking personal history and last 10 year Residence history.

Shall I take PCC from my hometown PSK as my passport is on hometown address and I don't have any residence proof of my current city address?

And if I will take PCC from hometown PSK then can it will create any problem in my PR application as I mentioned different city as a current residence city?

Please help and guide urgently.

There is only one PCC per country not per address so doesn't matter where you take your PCC from

That means if I will took pcc from my hometown PSK and mention all address history of India where I live in last 10 year that doesn't affect my application.

No. Indian PCC do not even have address mentioned on the document so it won't matter.
