Application/profile updated ghost updates

Hello guys,

i have applied for study permit app on 27 june from dubai and it has crossed the normal processing time but i have received plenty of ghost updates on my application. but nothing has changed. if you guys can share some info on that it would be very helpful.

27th July: Medical Done
2nd August: Medical Passed

my uni starts on 4th of sept thats why i am worried now.
The ghost update is when you see the notification of your profile being updated but nothing has changed on your application

Hi Guys,
I applied for Visitor visa on 6th September. On 23rd September, on my account it said *Application/profile updated” instead of the usual “Submitted”, but there was no visible difference or update inside. is it good sign?

It just means that a visa officer is currently looking at your files right now.

i have applied for study permit online on 8th sept , a few days back my submitted status changed to application/ profile updated and after 3 hours it changed back to submitted.

do any of u experienced that ?
