Guys...

Why not go for some IELTS training classes? Believe me, it helps. Of course yiu need to put effort, but it can help to have a tutor/trainer guide you. I've had one student who was at Band 5/6 and when he wrote his IELTS he scored all Band 7/8

Lol I understand, it can be extremely frustrating. That 0.5 makes a HUGE difference. Have you guys thought of trying the CELPIP? It is similar to IELTS but completely computer based, and the exam is available to take in Dubai

For those attending the info session today, kindly give us some live updates. It will be much appreciated. I am at the moment in Dubai, though for vacation, but got no invite.

hi , I attended the information session today in Dubai for the new Brunswick. it was the one at 9:00 AM. lots of infos about the province. Some had interviews with the 4 or 5 biggest employers agencies in Canada. As we all know , the registration towards the session can be used later to apply for the PNP. In their email when they sent the invitation they mentioned "The benefit of attending this information session is that you can apply for immigration without a job offer using the Express Entry Labour Market Stream when the Program will accept EOI’s from people who attended an information session and meet the NOC requirements". I have attended the session and my NOC is on the list , but I have a question , are these two factors only enough to submit the EOI along with the latest updated resume? . Regarding the points , when I calculate the points, the total is 66 while they need at least 67 to apply through the PNP. Is this points-scale waived if someone attended the session and his NOC is on the list? Or it's gonna be submitted with the form?.

Does it mean I need to re take the IELTS exam to get that extra point to reach the 67 in case the window opens for applying? or attending the information session would waive this factor ? is there anything like that ? I am having difficulty to calculate the IELTS point in the PNP...My score was L = 8 / R = 6 / W = 6.5 / S = 6.5
