Work in US while Living in Canada

Hi, I moved to Canada from the USA. My husband is Canadian and we are waiting for my PR status to be complete. While we are waiting am I allowed to cross the border and work in the USA or am I not allowed to until my PR status is complete?

No you can't cross the border 5 days a week to work in the US because that would indicate that you are living in Canada while you are only visitor. There are some options if you work remotely and your company doesn't have US offices or clients. If you apply inland you can get a work permit in around 4 months. You can also apply outland while still in the US if you can prove that you intend to resettle in Canada as soon as you are granted PR or earlier.
