Hi everyone I'm new to this forum I'm from Guyana. My application has been processing for 7months now, i did my medical exam in April and I'm still awaiting a response from the immigration office. Does anyone know how soon after they would request your passport?

wow that's a long time!! since April!! that's like 5 months ago. I got ppr like 1 month after I did my medicals. u should contact them..but I guess each application is different

Yeah I thought it would be but every time I call the number to check the status it keeps on saying we are reviewing the additional documents you provided.

You should call the toll number and check the status of your application there as well . It's a bit similar to what you would see on gckey- (what the representatives have access too). I usually check ecas and call the number.
