I have received finger print request on January 22nd and completed everything on time. Still I didnt receive exam date. I submitted a request for my application status to cic and last week I received the status saying that: "File transferred to Scarborough IRCC to be scheduled for testing" and the date was July 20, 2018.

Still didnt receive anything yet. Any idea on that?

TIA

Does anybody know when file gets transferred from Mississauga to Scarborough? Is this done only when all checks are completed? If so does that mean we all just in queue for test?

My mom got the invitation for test\interview. Since she is above the age of 55 she doesn't need to write test. Can anyone please share their interview experience or anyone who is above age of 55 and didn't write a test. What do they ask in the interview?
Typically they go through all the paperwork including original passports that cover the eligibility period and ask questions (if any) about trips. They may engage in general conversation about the person, their work, etc. Nothing to worry about.

I dont know what they ask in interview but when we went there, there were people over 54. They asked people over 54 just to proceed to "somewhere" directly. I believe they would just check the IDs to make sure they actually lived in Canada for alloted period. So do provide them with passports. They are not expected to know english or french but you can actually send their passport (in zip bag with some notes attached so it helps officer understand the document). Again, I dont think any of this is required. I am just trying to make their life easier

Hi, actually my mom was at Scarborough yesterday as well. When my mom checked status, it says Decision Made too! Did they tell you when to expect Oath invitation?
